Amidst the cherry colored buds, covering the otherwise bare tree, is a single brown leaf dangling there in contrast, swinging back and forth. In closer view a few more single leaves are twirling solo in the gentle breeze. Disparate, they don't appear to fit, their season having past and the burgundy and reddish hues surrounding them on all sides.
It reminds of how we may at times hold on to yesterday, when today has bloomed. There is an aloneness in not wanting to let go.  Today presents new colors, connections,  and possibilities that can come alive once we do.

What do you need to let go of to embrace today?
